Programs
To disseminate mathematical knowledge and to encourage fruitful research collaborations, the Clay Mathematics Institute organizes an annual summer school and a small set of conferences and workshops. CMI and its partners also run programs to encourage gifted students to pursue mathematical careers.
Summer Schools
The CMI summer schools are instructional conferences whose aim is to furnish a new generation of mathematicians with the knowledge and tools they need to successfully work in an active and important area of mathematics.
Conferences and Workshops
CMI hosts conferences and workshops for experts to exchange ideas, and for students to learn new fields.
Outreach
As part of its mission to encourage talented students to pursue mathematical careers, the Clay Mathematics Institute both partners with established outreach programs and pioneers its own program, the Clay Research Academy.
Liftoff
The Liftoff program supports recent Ph.D.'s for one month in the summer following their degree at a generous salary plus some funds for travel to research conferences or to work with collaborators. Liftoff scholars must be nominated by their departments. More...
